Values

The values described here reflect the culture lived within Rapp Trans DE. They have emerged from the common attitude of the board members, the employees and from the experiences in the cooperation with our parent company of Rapp Trans in Basel. The explicit formulation of the values grows out of what we have experienced.

  • Appreciative

We show appreciation and respect towards each other in the team, but also towards our clients and cooperation partners. For us, appreciative behaviour means taking the other person seriously and thus also maintaining open communication that also recognises critical words in the sense of offers of support. The appreciative attitude is made clear by the fact that it is not about exposing or suppressing others, but about mutually supporting each other.

  • Family-friendly

Most Rapp Trans DE employees, including the board members, have families with children. It is important to us that we can spend sufficient time with our families. We believe that Rapp Trans DE is more successful when there is a good work-life balance. As far as possible, we respond to the needs of individual employees in this regard. This requires commitment and real teamwork from everyone.

  • Economical

We want to handle the resources at our disposal with care. Not only in terms of environmental protection, but also with regard to project budgets and our own resources. If we have the impression that our support is no longer necessary in a project, we do not try to exhaust the budget.

  • Secure and stable

Security and stability are becoming increasingly important for people in rapidly changing environments. We are looking for employees who are looking for a long-term employment relationship and have sector-specific experience or enjoy developing this experience with us. We offer our employees a secure and stable job and are a reliable partner for their professional development.

  • Competent

Competence is what matters in the consulting business. The demands on Rapp Trans DE employees are high, because in addition to high intellectual and professional skills, we require from our employees social competence and the willingness to develop further in this regard.

  • Curious and interested

We can learn something from every experience. The profession of consulting entails that you always have to adapt to new situations and new professional fields of work. This makes the profession of consulting exciting: curiosity and a natural interest in everything new are necessary to be happy in this profession in the long term. These personal qualities are the basis for the joy of learning and creating innovations.

  • Service-oriented and independent

Rapp Trans' approach to consultancy is to place our actions at the service of our clients. This does not mean opportunistic behaviour, but rather support in achieving project goals that are individually and clearly agreed upon in advance. All our considerations, analyses and recommendations ultimately remain offers to the client; the decision is up to the client himself. In every project we always represent externally the position of our client.

  • Enjoy working with people

Exciting topics and a friendly atmosphere should ensure that we have a lot of fun in our work and in working with others.

Mission

We advise our clients from the public and private sectors on their projects in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems. Our consulting services are oriented towards the entire value chain: from strategy development to tendering, the design of technical solutions and the support of implementation projects to the acceptance and operation of Intelligent Transport Systems. As an independent consultancy, we represent the interests of our clients in the respective projects in a service-oriented manner. We make our knowledge lead available to our customers in the form of technically and socially competent teams. By acting in a resource-conserving manner, developing standards, investing in international research projects and the further training of our employees, as well as through a family-friendly environment, we create sustainable growth and stability and security for our employees. This is how we become the ITS consulting company in Germany.
